Niam has acquired Kruthuset 17, a modern office- and logistic property close to the central station in Gothenburg. Kruthuset 17 consists of 68,000 sqm lettable area and has multiple tenants, the largest being Tullverket, PostNord, Trafikverket and CGI. The property is certified according to Breeam Very Good. The sellers are funds managed by Blackstone and Areim.

Erik Rydström, Fund Manager, says: “We are happy to announce that we have acquired a modern property in a strategic location close to the central station, one of Gothenburg’s most expansive areas. The property’s good location and communications will be improved further with the construction of the West Link and the redevelopment of the area around the central station. Niam sees great potential to develop the property further.”

Roschier Attorneys has been Niam’s legal advisor in the transaction. CBRE has been sales agent on behalf of Obligo, Blackstone and Areim.
