Niam acquires new residential development project from Peab

Niam has signed an agreement to acquire a rental residential project under construction for 84 apartments, including 66 parking spaces. The project is located in Botkyrka, 45 minutes from central Stockholm. Furthermore, the residential units are located close to nature as well as schools and shops. The property is in an expansive micro area where 3,500 residential units will be developed by 2030.

The seller and developer is Peab, one of the leading construction companies in the Nordic region. Niam will take over the residential units upon completion, which is during Q1 2023.

The housing project is a good addition to our growing Swedish residential portfolio, and we look forward to a continued good collaboration with Peab during the development up until completion in the beginning of 2023.”
