The Nordic real estate private equity firm held its first close for their third Core-Plus fund, targeting real estate investments in the Nordic region.
Most of the capital derives from European pension funds and financial institutions, with a mix of both existing and new investors. Similar to its predecessor, the fund will be an income producing fund with a net IRR target of 8% and an annual income yield of 5% and will acquire residential, office, logistics, public use and retail investments in the four Nordic countries.
Victor Wettergren, Fund Manager, says, “We are very happy to announce a successful first close, especially during these extraordinary times and are grateful for the continued support from existing investors and excited to welcome new ones. Our Core-Plus funds have a strong track record and continued to perform well during the pandemic, meeting the distribution goals. We see great opportunities in the Nordic market, and we are confident that our third Core-Plus fund will create value for our investors.”
Subsequent closes will be held as needed.
