Niam divests CGI HQ in Helsinki metropolitan area

Today, Niam has divested one of their office properties in Helsinki metropolitan area to Altaal. It was built in 2004 as headquarters for CGI in Finland. The building has seven floors providing space for 1,200 employees on 18,500 sqm.

As the other office premises in Helsinki under Niam’s management, the property is strategically located next to major arterial roads and is easily accessed by public transportation.

“The area is an interesting part of Helsinki that we believe will become even stronger given the roll out of the Jokeri light rail with a station located only 100 metres from our building. Infrastructure investments always support asset values and this micro location will become even stronger upon the Jokeri line completion.” says Stefan Gattberg, founder Altaal.

Antti Muilu, Country Manager Niam Finland, says, “When we acquired the property, we predicted that the infrastructure in the area would improve over time. This being close to materialize, along with active asset management during our holding, we are happy to hand over this excellent asset to Altaal.”

Niam’s Finnish office portfolio now consists of five modern properties with high technical standards and together they total almost 100,000 sqm.
