Niam expands its Stockholm team with three new hires

Niam expands its Stockholm team with Oscar Hägglund from Slättö, Karina Bernsell from Nordic Capital and Adam Lidén from JLL Debt & Financial Advisory.

Oscar Hägglund joins Niam as Asset Manager and will mainly focus on the growing residential portfolio in Sweden. He previously worked as fund manager at Slättö and joins Niam on August 16. During the past 12 months, Niam has invested in 4,300 homes throughout the Nordic region, where the majority of are under development and will be environmentally certified upon completion.

Niam has also hired Karina Bernsell as Head of Fund Services. Today she works as Head of Finance at Nordic Capital and will join Niam on September 27.

With an increasing investment rate, Niam has also strengthened its Financing & Transaction Structuring team with Adam Lidén, who will join as Associate Director on August 16. Adam comes most recently from JLL Debt & Financial Advisory as Director & Global Coordinator and has previously worked at Nordea Markets within risk advisory and corporate derivatives.

Since August 2020, Niam has grown its organization considerably with 18 new employees and today, Niam has a team consisting of 87 people.
