Niam has signed a forward commitment acquisition of a last-mile logistics asset in Arlandastad, offering direct connections to the E4 highway, Arlanda Airport, Rosersberg and the Mälardalen region. The building to be constructed is designed to be top-modern and generic, adhering to the highest ESG and technical specifications. With a further dedication to sustainability, the project is engineered to achieve the BREEAM SE Excellent certification upon completion.
“With this acquisition, Niam expands its Logistics Portfolio, emphasizing our dedication to the segment and to assets tailored to meet long term regional demands. This transaction showcases our flexibility for various deal structures and profiles, in this case a forward commitment deal where Niam takes on the leasing. We continue to seek logistics acquisitions in the Nordics, our dynamic business model resonates across all segments throughout the entire region”, states Henrik Gerdin, Fund Manager at Niam.
"We are very pleased to have secured this grade-A asset in a prime location in Greater Stockholm. The size and the specification of the 15,000 sqm building are deemed to be attractive for occupiers and suitable for the location”, adds Tobias Brynjer, Director at Niam.
The property is developed by OOF Group, and the closing between Niam and OOF will take place at completion of the project, in 2025.
